Vintage designer eyewear is frequently counterfeited, so every piece undergoes a careful authentication process. We consider both where a frame comes from and what it is.

We source through a network of collectors, opticians, and trusted sellers around the world, documenting the history and provenance of each piece whenever available. Our team then inspects every frame by hand, evaluating brand, era, model, markings, materials, construction, and wear patterns against what we know of authentic pieces from that period.
