The initiative invites supporters to invest directly in AZYR’s next phase: global expansion, the opening of a Manhattan showroom, and the scaling of its digital platform to transform online eyewear buying into a curated, seamless experience. Founded by Maureen Ryza, AZYR Specs has built its reputation by sourcing rare vintage frames from the U.S. and Europe and refining them into one-of-a-kind pieces with custom lenses. At its core, AZYR Specs is rooted in sustainability and Ryza’s background in Costume Design. By unlocking access to hundreds of thousands of deadstock frames, the brand is reducing waste and giving timeless designs a second life. In collaboration with a trusted optician, these frames are transformed into custom prescription glasses or sunglasses, allowing AZYR to scale while preserving craftsmanship and exclusivity.
